The Fountain of Youth

In Present day St. Augustine, Florida is the historical landmark known as "the
Fountain of Youth."  Those who drink of its waters will become young again.
This is the site of the legendary spring that Ponce de Leon was searching for
when he came to Florida in 1513. Many people come to the site every year and
drink from the water in the hope reversing the aging process and to be forever
young.  The irony to this myth is that it is partially true: water will rejuvenate
the skin to make you look much younger.

A good example of this is Tina Turner, the well know rock-N-roller.  In a TV
interview when still in her 60s, she looked fantastic.  When asked about her
youthful looks, she believed that it was because she drinks at least 2 quarts of
water every day.

Without enough good clean water, you can lose your good looks.  According to
Dr. Don Colbert, water is the very foremost beauty treatment on the planet.
From his book The Seven Pillars of Health, he says; " It keeps your skin supple,
your eyes bright, and your body spry."  A good analogy is that when you take
the water out of grapes you will get raisins.  When you take the water out of
your skin you will get wrinkles.  Dehydrated skin is dry, flaky and wrinkled.

The skin is supposed to be elastic and hold in moisture.  By not drinking
enough water, the skin will sag and loose its elasticity.  There are no wrinkle
prevention creams that can fix the problem of not enough water.  You have to
pick up that glass yourself.
